It has been a while since we have sent out an email, but we wanted to let everyone know that we are still here!  Even with the housing market the way it is, there still seems to be some growth in the Plumas Lake area. Please help us get the word out about our sports programs by telling your neighbors about us.

 

 

The soccer season is well underway, and with six teams this year, we are looking forward to a good time.  Games are played Saturday mornings at the Plumas Charter School.  To see the schedule or for more information visit the Lil' Kickers web page. 

Are you ready for some football?  Flag Football that is!  From the looks of it so far, everyone has been having fun playing in the flag football league this year.  If you would like to know more about how it's played, click here to see the rules.  Games are played at the Charter School on Saturday mornings, come by and check it out!  For more visit the Flag Football Page. 

Go Team! What football league would be complete without cheerleaders?  The girls of the PLYSA cheer squad are doing their part, come out and help them cheer the players on during Flag Football games on Saturday mornings.  For more information, visit the Cheer Page.

 

In closing, we would like to say thank you to our coaches and volunteers. The PLYSA is an all volunteer organization, and without our volunteers, there would be no sports leagues.  We would also like to say a special "Thank You!" to our sports coordinators: Lennie Masse and Monica Kirkpatrick.  They have donated countless hours of their time to ensure that the kids in our community have something to do.  So when you see them, tell them "Thank you!", and let them know we appreciate them.

ons to our website, The PLYSA Forums and the PLYSA Photo Gallery.  Now you can share your thoughts AND your pictures.  The Forums are a great way to get up to the minute information about PLYSA activities and leagues, or to stay in touch with coaches and other parents.  With the new Photo gallery, you can upload pictures of events and share them with the entire community.  Check it out!
